Mailing machine or similar printing machine with a through the
Stencils to be put into action electrical signaling device with several
parallel circuits corresponding to the number of stencil groups. The invention
refers to a mailing machine or similar printing machine with in their
Printing stencils guided one after the other through the machine in longitudinal direction. Means
such machines are often in various types of forms, such as
on the bills of electricity companies, the addresses imprinted, and it turns out
This often leads to the need for bills of different colors to be printed
must, depending on which tariff class the customer in question belongs to. In order to
now the person operating the mailing machine can recognize which type or which
colored form each has to be introduced into the machine for printing
in a mailing machine of the type known per se following the subject of
Invention-forming device taken, which consists in that in known
Way through projections arranged in different positions on its lower surface,
divided into different groups according to the different types of forms
Printing stencils shortly before they reach their print positions, one each through the location
of the projection on the template specific circuit of several electrical
Close circuits containing signal devices such as lamps.
So depending on which group of templates that template belongs to which
reaches the impression position in the next moment, a certain signal is given
given, for example a lamp of a certain color will light up. This
According to the invention, the signal is retained until the imprint of the
Stencil has been made and the printed stencil has left the impression position
begins. The operator receives from the appearance of the relevant signal
a note about which of the different colored bills o
Has to introduce the impression into the machine. Because the signal sustained for so long
until the stencil in question has been imprinted, the operator will
drawn attention to the type of
The form is to be printed on, and she can easily see what type of
The form is to be printed if it only approaches the machine after the
The stencil is already in its printing position.

Schablone a vorzusehenden Schaltvorsprünge cl, c2, c3, c4 sind demnach an vier verschiedenen
vier Rillen bzw.
Formulare ent-5prechen. Gelangt also, wie beispielsweise in Abb. i angenommen ist,
The illustrated addressing machine finitely one behind the other in its longitudinal direction in a sliding path forwards moving printing stencils a, which are eiitnoininen from a magazine. ; Is designed in the usual way, and it is assumed that the mailing machine shown is intended for printing four different types or different forms. The switching projections c1, c2, c3, c4 to be provided on the lower surface of the stencil a are accordingly on four different positions to be attached, depending on which template group the rental template belongs to. The four types of projections cl, c2, .c3, cl on the printing templates correspond to four grooves or slots d1, d2, d3, d4 in the bottom surface of the slide , within which the projections cl, c2, c3, c-, can move during the forward movement of the templates , c3, cl, when the associated stencil has reached its imprint position, four Hegel e1, e2, e3, e in, which are rotatably mounted in the machine frame at f , and against the upper ends of the projections cl, c2, c3, cl against to run. While the levers e1, c2, c3, e1 normally assume the position shown in Fig. 3, to which they each seek to return a spring g, they are moved out of the position according to Fig. 3 in the position according to Dep. D. twisted, whereby an electrical contact is closed. the example of the example drawn consists of a resilient rod h with a contact screw il: est. This closes an electric circuit, and this conclusion of the electric circuit is also maintained in accordance with Fig_ _ # when the stepping pressure shell a has reached the pressure position assumed in Fig. 5. by bending the resilient contact rod lt. A release of the lever e1 or e2 etc. takes place only at the moment in which the stencil a leaves its printing position v. each contact h, i is in one of the four circuits, as in Abi). 6 indicated aest. and in each circuit, in the example shown, a lamp k1, k2, k3, k4 is arranged in a ring, the colors of which suitably correspond to the symbols of the forms to be printed. If, for example, it is assumed in Fig. I, a printing stencil reaches the imprint site finitely with a projection cl,., O, shortly before this stencil has reached its imprinting site, the lever ei is rotated and the associated circuit through the contact Mal, il is closed, causing lamp k1 to light up. The lamp k1 now remains on until the print has been made and the stencil has left its print position, so that during this entire time the operator knows what type of form is to be printed. If the next following stencil also has the projection cl, the lamp k1 is switched on again, or if the following stencil has the projection at a different location, the lamp k2 or k3 or, depending on the location at which the projection is located, becomes the lamp k2 or k3 or k1 switched on.
In the illustrated and described 'machine is therefore, in simple
Way reached, let the operator through automatically, let the machine on
it is pointed out which type of form is to be printed in each case without it
the operator needs to have a look at the address template to be printed
to throw.
