Abstract

A roulette wheel has a first lower opaque disc and a second upper transparent disc. The first lower disc is provided with concentric annular areas which reproduce the bowl-shaped part of a roulette wheel and with a narrow edge area. The second, upper disc is rotatably connected to the first disc and has two concentric annular areas, the outer annular area covering the two annular areas of the lower disc. The inner annular area is considerably smaller than the outer annular area. The edge area of the lower disc and the annular areas of the upper disc are provided with bar-markings and/or annular segment areas for the optical delimitation of number regions of the lower disc and to permit the rapid recognition and reading off of setting signal numbers.
