Der AT-PS 3 54 995 ist ein Verfahren zur Sporenbildung von hinter Filtern ausgetragenen Bakterien entnehmbar, bei dem ein Filter mit einer Quarzfüllung eingesetzt wird. Zur wirksamen Sperrenbildung muß das Bakterien enthaltende Fluid allerdings vor Durchgang durch die Quarzfüllung er­ wärmt und anschließend wieder abgekühlt werden. Dies er­ fordert einen hohen apparativen Aufwand. Es ist daher Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein gattungsgemäßes Verfahren anzugeben, bei dem die Bakterien und Pilzsporen ohne hohen apparativen Auf­ wand wirksam zurückgehalten werden.
