Bei der den Gegenstand der Erfindung· bildenden Fassung für elektrische Lampen ist eine kurzschließende Überbrückung· der metallenen Fassungsteile, Stromschlußstücke und Stromleitungen unmöglich gemacht und jede Gefahr durch elektrische Schläge bei Berührung der Fassung oder der Lampe gänzlich vermieden. Die Knopfes können in Aussparungen in dem Paßstück £ eintreten, und die Länge des Stiftes r ist so bemessen, daß beim Einschieben einer der Knöpfe in die Aussparung der andere Knopf aus der Aussparung heraustritt. In dem Stift r sind zwei Kerben vorgesehen. In die eine oder in die andere dieser Kerben greift nachgiebig eine Fedferklinke ί ein, je nachdem dier Stift in die eine oder andere Endstelllung geschoben ist. Auf dem Stift r ruhen zwei in dem Paßstück p befestigte Stromschlußfedern ν auf, die demnach durch den Stift leitend verbunden werden. An letzterem sind zwei Plättchen w o. dgl. aus stromnichtleitendem Material so befestigt, daß sie beim Verschieben des Stiftes r in seine andere Endstellung unter die Stromschlußfedern ν treten und dadurch deren leitende Berührung mit dem Stift aufheben.
