Arrangement for automatic shutdown or display or both at the same time of faulty line sections or the like.
Von der Überlegung ausgehend, daß bei Kurzschluß die Netzspannung an der Kurzschlußstelle gleich Null ist, also die Spannung in den beiden Stationen einer Ringleitung, die dem Fehler am nächsten liegen, am niedrigsten ist, hat man ein Schutzsystem ausgearbeitet, das auf der Verwendung von Relais oder Auslösern beruht, die einerseits in ihrer Verzögerung von der Spannung der Station, anderseits in ihrem Ansprechen vonBased on the consideration that in the event of a short circuit the mains voltage at the short circuit point equals zero, i.e. the voltage in the two stations of a loop that are closest to the fault, is the lowest, a protection system has been worked out based on the use of Relay or trip unit is based on the one hand in its delay from the voltage of the Station, on the other hand in their addressing of

der Richtung des den Schalter durchströmenden Fehlerenergieflusses abhängen.depend on the direction of the fault energy flow flowing through the switch.
Abb. Ι shows one of the possible embodiments. E is a voltage-dependent relay, the start-up time of which is greater, the greater the station voltage. W 1 , W 2 are wattmetric relays which are switched in such a way that each switch only closes the trigger circuit of the associated switch when the fault energy flows away from the station into the conduction path, but leaves it open when the energy direction is reversed. If, with this arrangement, the voltage becomes zero, the wattmetric relays of the station fail, so that only those of the previous station can respond and thereby a station is also switched off, which contradicts the purpose of the ring line. One has therefore made the arrangement in such a way that the wattmetric relays correspond to the! Energy towards a trip circuit <nen only öff- ', at zero voltage the trigger so only: to the share or the control pulse through! the voltage relays are instructed. Here, however, just as the front of the station: interrupt switch located as lying behind her, probably both, so that this arrangement does not protect against faulty operation. : According to the invention, the risk of | Incorrect switching is reduced by the fact that, in addition to i the voltage-dependent relays, there are also i independently delayed ones, which only come into effect when the voltage in the station is equal to zero. The same structural element that causes the dependent timing relay to expire in the event of a short circuit also allows the independent timing relay to expire. However, this only releases the trigger if both wattmetric relays do not deflect. The two independent relays of each station have different delays, so that the one closer to the control center has a greater delay than the one behind the station (counted from the control center) (Fig. 2). However, these independent delays can also be staggered in opposite directions, as has already been proposed for protective devices for ring networks. Under an opposite j graduation such is understood when one passes through when \ of the ring from the control center in a certain direction is obtained, the successive switch before len stations rising tripping times while the tripping times of the switch lying behind the stations (fig . 3).
One measures the sensitivity of the individual relay responding to overcurrent correctly, then it is possible to risk the additional independent timing relay very much to limit incorrect switching. Is it not possible for individual stations From the outset with certainty the direction of energy in the event of a short circuit close to the station assume, then the station operator at least knows wc. the cause of Faulty switching is to be looked for in the first place. This is the time of the tensionlessness reduced for the station concerned, so that in this case too the pinging of the independent staggering has great merits.
The relationships are similar to those in the case of voltage-dependent deceleration in the case of relays with a delay that depends on the current, so that the Subject of the invention can apply successfully. What has been said about relays also applies analogously for the release built on the switch and the mechanical control of the same through them.
