H, Fig. i, ist ein Abzugsrohr (Kanal), welches die abziehende Luft in möglichster Breite aufnimmt und so vermittelt, dafs die in ganzer Breite des Ofens eingeführte atmosphärische Luft möglichst die ganze Glutfläche berührt. Der Abzugskanal H nimmt seinen Anfang in der Decke über der Feuerung, führt in konischer Form durch die Wärme- oder Oberröhre und läuft dann in ein rundes Rohr aus. Der Schieber JD, in Fig. 1, 2 und 6 ersichtlich, regulirt den Abzug nach dem Zuge des Schornsteins, während die Klappe E, Fig. 1 und 2, in der Ober- und Wärmeröhre die Feuchtigkeit und die Dünste in den Schlot abführt, welche sich bei Anwärmen von Wasser u. s. w. oder beim Trocknen der Gegenstände entwickeln. Durch die eingesetzten Glasplatten in Klappe F, Fig. 3, 4 und 5, läfst sich die Füllung des Aschenkastens A leicht wahrnehmen ,so dafs dadurch eine Ueberfüllung, Herausfallen der Asche, nicht stattfinden kann, n, Fig. 3 und 5, ist ein an der unteren Seite im Boden ganz am Ende angebrachter Schieber, durch welchen die Entleerung des Aschenkastens auch in einen kleinen Behälter staubfrei stattfindet.
