Abstract

The fibres are cut to a max. length not greater than the diameter of the extruded strand from which the lining is wound. By adding talc, or similar material and even mix is obtd. and the ability for the fibres to align. The strand is shaped into the friction lining, e.g. plate before securing via bonding. The dispersing agent is approx. 5% of the weight of the lining.
