Zündkerze.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf elektrische
Zündkerzen mit regelbarer Funkenstrecke
für Verbrennungsmotoren bekannter Art, bei
der c*e Regelung der Funkenstrecke durch
Drehung der Mittelelektrode in bezug auf die
'\lassenelektrode erreicht wird.
Die Erfindung bezweckt, eine Vorrichtung
zum Regeln der Funkenstrecke zu schaffen,
welche auf der Anwendung ödes Prinzips der
Drehung der isolierten Elektrode in bezug auf
die Massenelektrode beruht, und eine der-
artige Anordnung wird im nachstehenden be-
schrieben und ist beispielsweise in einer Aus-
führungsform in der Zeichnung dargestellt,
und zwar zeigt:
A,bl),. i eine Ansicht der Zündkerze von
unten,
Abb.
geeignet -gestalteten Spindel.
Spark plug. The invention relates to electrical
Spark plugs with adjustable spark gap
for internal combustion engines of known type, at
the c * e regulation of the spark gap through
Rotation of the center electrode with respect to the
'\ let electrode is reached.
The invention aims to provide a device
to regulate the spark gap,
which on the application of the desolate principle of
Rotation of the insulated electrode with respect to
the ground electrode is based, and one of the
like arrangement is described below
written and is, for example, in an
leadership form shown in the drawing,
namely shows:
A, bl) ,. i is a view of the spark plug from
below,

Line xx of Fig. I, j edoch only the end
representing the spark plug.
i is the base of a spark plug, from
which almost all of the lower part up to
a certain height is cut away, so
that only one approach: 2 remains, -the pole
the ground electrode forms. 3 is the end
4es made of porcelain or steatite
Insulating body through which the central elec-
trode 4 is going on. The head 5 of this
Electrode carries an overall suitably
stored and attached metallic disc 6
with tips 7, which isolated the pole wire
Form electrode 4. Between one of the
Tips 7 and the pole parts 2 of the ground elec-
trode jumps over the funk.
The essential feature of the invention
is that the length of the pole tips 7
the disc 6 gradually increases so that
by setting the
S disc 6 is able to measure the length of the fun-
to be able to regulate the distance. It is only
necessary, for this purpose the center electrode 4
to rotate a certain angle to
the pole tip 7 opposite the pole tip 2
to transfer which of the desired fun
distance corresponds to.
The number of tips 7 of the disk 6
can be anything, say two, four, six, or
more, as well as the size of the tips.
Without deviating from Ader invention, can
the usual spark plugs with a
telelectrade in spark plugs with variable
Convert spark gap by clicking on
a certain height the edge of the body i,
which forms the ignition chamber, removed and
a disk 6 at the end of the center electrode
Arranged with pole tips 7 of different lengths
net11 in such a way that the disc
rotated around the central axis as required
can, for example, by means of a four
angular, hexagonal, octagonal or otherwise
suitable-designed spindle.
