Mikroskope bestehen vom grundsätzlichen Aufbau her aus
Routineuntersuchungen. Darüber hinaus bedingt
der Scharfstellvorgang einen ebenfalls personenabhängigen,
erheblichen Zeitaufwand.Microscopes consist of the basic structure
a lens ranging from a simple to a
double focal object creates an aerial view
which is viewed as a magnifying glass with an eyepiece.
The lens and eyepiece are fixed via a tube construction
interconnected so that for each lens / eyepiece combination
- The lens and eyepiece are generally each
interchangeable - a certain level in front of the lens
exists in which the object must be brought to
a sharp image of it through the eyepiece
see. This level is generally very
close to the front lens of the lens, so the danger
there is that when focusing, which by moving
the microscope tube or the stage,
Front lens and microscopic specimen (object) in contact
come and get damaged. This naturally applies
especially for inexperienced users and the case of frequently performed
Routine examinations. Beyond conditional
the focusing process is also a person-dependent,
considerable expenditure of time.
automatisch erfolgt. The aim of the present invention is to overcome these disadvantages
to be avoided by simply giving the user a rough preset
and the fine adjustment leading to sharpness
done automatically.
This is according to the invention corresponding to the schematic illustration of FIG. 1 achieved in that in a microscope with the tube T, a deflecting mirror Sp (z. B. as a reflecting surface of a movable / rotatable prism or preferably is chosen as an exemplary embodiment as a folding mirror) located.
auf eine Sollschärfenebene S′.In the initial state, the mirror SP is folded out of the beam path between the objective O and the eyepiece OK . By moving the tube system T against the object table OT or the object O located thereon or vice versa, the user first makes a rough focusing and then actuates a trigger AL (e.g. a button), which means via the evaluation electronics / signal processing AE or directly (shown in dotted lines in FIG. 1), the mirror SP is folded into the beam path by a drive T 2 . The image of the object OJ is now generated in the area of a photoelectric sensor SE via the mirror SP . This sharpness-sensitive sensor evaluating the image contrast, in conjunction with the connected evaluation electronics / signal processing AE, determines the position of the plane of focus of the image with respect to a target plane of focus S ' .
korrespondieren. The evaluation electronics / signal processing AE controls the displacement of the tube system T with objective O / front lens FL and eyepiece OK / eye lens AL and the object table / object against each other via a drive element T 1 such that when the mirror SP is later folded away, the focus plane (within permissible tolerances) in the nominal focus plane S (viewing plane) of the OK eyepiece falls. This is ensured by adjustment that the target sharpness levels S ' and S correspond to each other.
As soon as the automatic focusing process described is completed, the evaluation electronics / signal processing AE controls a drive T 2 in such a way that the mirror SP is folded away. Since the time between folding in and out of the mirror SP can be very short (e.g. one second), the observation process is practically unaffected.
In continuation of the idea of the invention, the folding mirror and its actuation by means of a trigger can be dispensed with if a partially transparent fixed mirror or a mirror which periodically moves in and out of the beam path is used as the mirror SP .
automatischer Scharfstellung (Feineinstellung)
mittels fotoelektrischem Sensor SE, Auswertelektronik/
Fig. 1 shows a microscope in which the tube system T in the beam path between objective and eyepiece O OK, a deflecting mirror SP preferably, a folding mirror can be accommodated. This is done by the user as soon as he has made a rough focus by actuating a trigger AL . After automatic focusing (fine adjustment) by means of photoelectric sensor SE , evaluation electronics / signal processing AE and drive T 1 , the mirror SP is folded away again via the drive T 2 , so that the image of the object to be observed lies in the target focus plane S of the eyepiece OK and is seen sharply.
