Abstract

Der Ballkasten ist mit einer Eintrageinrichtung für Bälle versehen, die mit dem Ausstoßrohr in Verbindung steht. Bei Betrieb baut sich in dem Luftkasten durch eine Ventilatoranordnung eine Luftströmung mit bestimmtem Luftdruck auf, die den Ball in dem Ausstoßrohr bis zu einer bestimmten Auslöseschwelle trägt. Der Ball kommt an der Schwelle zum Stillstand und sperrt damit den Luftaustritt aus dem Luftkasten. Dadurch steigt der Luftdruck bis zu einem Wert an, bei dem die Belastung des Balles durch den Luftdruck die Spanne der die Schwelle haltenden Feder überwindet.
