Support device for string instruments to be played lying down. at The invention is: a bowed string instrument for playing: duck, especially the lying violin, in contrast to the comfortable one held by the neck and to create a secure support device that is available in all locations. on In the drawing, the violin in Fig. i in. Longitudinal view is ready to be played illustrated.
Fig. 2 is a top view, Fig. 3 is an end view .with opened and supported lid.
Fig.q. illustrates the container with the supports bolted on, and Figure 5 shows the arch guide saddle on a slightly enlarged scale.
Since the violin according to the invention is about table height: to play is, it makes itself: a special support device required, and as its The violin case i serves as a carrier. In the violin case 1 are close to the two ends Supports q: arranged to be foldable so that when the supports q. are folded down, the violin 3 still has space in the box i, as can be seen in Fig. 2. Are the supports. put up, as in Fig. i and 3, then the violin 3 lies with its neck or head on one support q. and with the hollow body back on the other supports. q. on. The violin case has a bottom so that the correct altitude is reached foldable feet 6 to 7, which are adjustable in length and with screws 8 are detectable. The open cover 2 must also have a support and is closed equipped for this purpose with a foldable support g. So that the player is independent a music stand that can be folded inwards can also be attached to the lid of the violin case2 5 may be provided, and one with a carrier 12 to which a trough i i is attached, The guide seated on the violin case can support the violin bow at.
