Abstract

Plug connector for electrical cable systems receives the flexible cords (26) with their coupling sleeves (24) in a casing (10) with a recess (18). An adhesive compound (46) is used to fix the core in the bore. At least a part of the cord is bonded by the thixotropic adhesive. The viscosity of the latter is altered by vibrating the casing so that the adhesive can penetrate to the desired depth. The preferred material of the adhesive is a resin/hardener mix on a polyurethane basis.
