Description
The invention relates to an electron beam deflection system for a magnetically deflecting oscillograph tube, which with one with respect to a reference potential positive and negative operating voltage applied which is an amplifier with a signal input, with a signal output, with a positive and a has negative supply input, the nega tive supply input via a first parallel scarf tion from a first diode on the one hand and from a Series connection of a first capacitor with a he Most switches on the other hand to the negative operating voltage is located, the connection between which he most capacitor and the first switch with the posi tive supply input is connected, and wherein the first switch depending on one of the signals geared input signal is controlled.
A deflection system of the type mentioned is from the DE 26 26 102 A1 known. There will generate a sawtooth voltage whose steep negative plank for example for the line return a television picture is required. While writing a picture line is relatively slow Current changes, i.e. small dI / dt out to the electrical to deflect the beam. When the end of a line is reached so the electron beam has to be as fast as possible starting point for the next line.
For this it is necessary to use the deflection coil of the oscilloscope phenol tube with an opposite, high To apply tension. This is a high dI / dt reached. DE 26 26 102 A1 specifies a circuit for this, by voltage topping up three times the value of a negative operating voltage is reached. According to the one described there Circuit is the connection between the first con capacitor and the first switch via a resistor connected to the positive supply input. This has the disadvantage that when the first switch is closed the difference between the positive and nega tive supply voltage is present. This creates heat developed, the removal of which is complex. Still suffering the reliability, especially the lifespan under the fact. When using this circuit in medizini devices also adds that legal provisions regarding the maximum warming compared to room temperature exist that must be complied with. It is also at portable medical devices necessary for this be powered by a battery; a high energy consumption would require additional effort.
Use cases are known in which not only negative edge of a signal rise very quickly but also the positive edge of the signal. The ses z. B. the case when slow signal shapes, such as B. the EKG or the blood pressure curve of a Patients to be deposited with alpha numerical information. The latter are usually faded into the picture using the line snap method. To is a high dI / dt even with positive operation tensions required.
The object of the invention is an electron beam Ab to design the steering system of the type mentioned at the beginning that rapid deflection movements with both positive and where negative operating voltages are possible with little energy consumption at the same time.
This object is achieved in that the positive supply input of the amplifier via a second parallel connection from a second diode on the one hand and from a series connection of a second Capacitor with a second switch on the other hand is applied to the positive operating voltage that the Connection between the first capacitor and the one Most switches with the connection between the second Capacitor and the second switch is connected and that the first and second switches are push-pull are controlled.
This deflection system has the advantage of being quick Current changes only with a conventional deflection coil can be achieved via high voltage changes, both with the positive as well as with the negative flank of the Input signal can be reached. Beyond that it is no longer necessary, a permanent switch stood between the positive and the negative operating provide voltage. It is only useful to have one low-resistance protective resistor between the two ge called connections to arrange the two switches before the capacitors start charging too high protect.
Further advantages and refinements of the invention he result from the description of execution examples len, which are shown in the figures in connection with the subclaims.

Fig. 2 shows a detailed embodiment for the positive and negative increase in the operating voltage.
Fig. 1 shows the amplifier 1 an amplifier stage, which has a signal input 3 , a signal output 5 , a positive supply input 7 and a negative supply input 9 . At the negati ven supply input 9 , a first parallel circuit device is connected, which on the one hand holds a first diode 11 and on the other hand a series connection of a most capacitor 13 and a first switch 15 ent.
The first capacitor 13 , e.g. B. an electrolytic capacitor is connected so that its negative coating on the negative supply input 9 and its positive coating is applied to the first switch 15 . The switch 15 and the cathode of the first diode 11 are connected to a connection 17 for a negative operating voltage -U B. The value of the operating voltage -U B is measured against reference potential or earth E.
The positive supply input 7 of the amplifier 1 is via a second parallel circuit, which consists of a two-th diode 19 on the one hand and a series connection of a second capacitor 21 with a second switch 23 on the other, at a connection 25 for a positive, equal operating voltage + U B laid. The positive coating of the capacitor 21 , e.g. B. an electric lyt capacitor, input 7 is connected to the positive supply. The negative coating of the second capacitor 21 leads to the second switch 23 . The second switch 23 and the anode of the second diode 19 are connected to the terminal 25 for the positive operating voltage + U B. The value of the positive operating voltage + U B is again measured in relation to the reference potential E.
The connection between the first capacitor 13 and the first switch 15 is connected via a connecting line 27 to the second connection between the second capacitor 21 and the second switch 23 .
In the connecting line 27 , a relatively low ohmic resistance 29 can be switched on, which serves as protection for the switches 15 , 23 . As switches 15 , 23, the preferably non-contact elements such as transistors.
The switches 15 , 23 operate in push-pull. That is, the first switch 15 is closed when the second switch 23 is in the open position and the second switch 23 is closed when the first switch 15 is in the open position. Both switches 15 , 23 must not overlap with regard to their switching position. The switches 15 , 23 are operated via a control device 30 depending on a z. B. sawtooth-shaped input signals U 1 , which is present at the signal input 3 of the amplifier 1 , controlled.
In the state of the deflection system shown, that is to say when the first switch 15 is open and the second switch 23 is closed, the positive operating voltage + U B is applied to the positive supply input 7 of the amplifier 1 via the second diode 19 . At the same time, a circuit is effective which leads from the positive terminal 25 via the second switch 23 , the connecting line 27 , the first capacitor 13 and the first Dio de 11 to the negative terminal 17 . Via this current path, the first capacitor 13 is charged with the polarity shown to a voltage which corresponds to the difference between positive and negative operating voltage + U B , -U B , ie 2 | U B |.
In this circuit state, for example, the slowly rising edge of a sawtooth pulse is present at signal input 3 . The sawtooth rises until it reaches its turning point. It should then be returned to the initial value as quickly as possible. A typical application for this is, for example, line feedback in a television picture. The deflection coil 6 connected to the output 5 must be added to the line return with the highest possible negative voltage so that the return takes place quickly.
This reversal point in the sawtooth curve U 1 , that is, the negative flank, is detected by the control device 30 , whereupon the switches 15 , 23 are each quickly switched to their other position. The first switch 15 is then in the closed state and the second switch 23 in the open state. In this case, the negative connection operating voltage -U B is due to the connection between the first switch 15 and the positive coating of the first capacitor 13 . To this negative operating voltage -U B , the sum of positive and negative operating voltage + U B , -U B is the sum 2 | U B |, since this is stored in the first capacitor 13 . Thus, is at the negative supply voltage input 9 of the amplifier 1 as the voltage twice negative operating voltage -U B plus positive operating voltage + U B as the amount 3 | U B | at.
This becomes particularly clear when a numerical example is considered. Is the positive operating voltage + U B z. B. +15 V and the negative operating voltage -U B z. B. -15 V, the first capacitor 13 is charged to a voltage of 30 V according to the drawing position. The point of the higher potential lies at the first connection between the first switch 15 and the first capacitor 13 and the point of the lower potential at the negative supply input 9 . If, as described, the switch has now been made, the first switch 15 is in the closed state, then the connection between the first switch 15 and the first capacitor 13 is at the voltage -15 V, ie the negative operating voltage -U B , at. This -15 V are now upper potential point for the first condensate sator 13 applied voltage of 30 V. Thus, there is the negative plate of the first capacitor 13 and thus the negative power supply input 9 on the voltage value of -45 V. The negative supply voltage -U B is therefore increased to three times the value at input 9 .
In this switch position, that is, with the switch 15 closed and the switch 23 open, not only is the negative operating voltage -U B increased to three times the negative supply input 9 , but at the same time a current path from the negative operating voltage 17 via the first switch 15 , the connecting line 27 , the second capacitor 21 and the second diode 19 to the positive reference potential + U B at the terminal 25 are formed. Then the second capacitor 21 is charged to the sum of the positive and negative operating voltage + U B , -U B.
If the first and second switches 15 , 23 are switched as a function of the input signal U 1 , so that the switch position shown is again present, the process described above is repeated in the opposite manner. At the connection between the second switch 23 and the second capacitor 21 , the positive operating voltage of +15 V is present. This side is also the lower potential for the second capacitor 21 charged to 30 V. This is at the positive supply input 7 of the amplifier 1, the voltage + 45 V. Here too, the first capacitor 13 is charged simultaneously with the positive increased operating voltage, so that it has the difference between the negative and positive operating voltage -U B or + U B. This process is repeated in synchronism with the input signal U 1 .
For switching the first and second switches 15 , 23 , any criteria can be derived from the input signal U 1 , which is present at the signal input 3 of the amplifier 1 . Here is z. B. advantageous to take the minimum and maximum of the signal as a criterion. For example, the amplifier 1 has an increased negative voltage at the supply input 9 at the beginning of the negative falling edge and an increased positive voltage at the supply input 7 at the beginning of the positive edge. It can also be expedient to use the zero crossings of the input signal U 1 as switchover criteria for the switches 15 , 23 .
The advantage of the circuit arrangement is that fast switching operations can also be carried out for oscillatory signal sequences. The signal U 3 available at the signal output 5 can thus follow abrupt changes in the input signal U 1 in both directions, both in the positive and in the negative. A possible dimensioning for input signals up to approx. 30 kHz is, for example: 1 ohm for the resistor 29 and 100 μF each for the capacitors 13 , 21 .
In FIG. 2, components having the same effect are provided with the same reference symbols as in FIG. 1. At the signal output 5 , the deflection coil 6 of a magnetically deflecting oscillograph tube is connected. It is connected via a resistor 31 with the resistance value R to the reference potential E.
Analoges gilt auch für die negative Betriebsspannung -UB.The amplifier output stage shown in Fig. 2 provides a good efficiency at the signal output 5, a voltage which is higher than the positive operating voltage + U B and smaller than the negative operating voltage -U B. In the following description, only the case of the positive operating voltage + U B is considered. The same applies to the negative operating voltage -U B.
At output voltages U 3 , which are smaller than the positive operating voltage + U B , the output stage works directly from the positive operating voltage. The second diode 19 is conductive. The resistors R 1 and R 2 in the amplifier 1 are designed so that R 2 is greater than R 1 . In this case, transistor T 2 opens earlier than transistor T 1 . For output voltages U 3 at the signal output 5 , which are greater than the positive operating voltage + U B , the output stage works with synchronously increased voltage Ua, which is equal to the triple positive operating voltage + U B. To stay with the numerical example in FIG. 1, this would be +45 V. This measure improves the efficiency.
This so-called voltage step-up works syn chronously with the input signal U 1 , which is present at the signal input 3 of the amplifier 1 . An operational amplifier OP connected to the second switch 23 works as a comparator. The output voltage of an RC low pass serves as a reference. The comparator detects the tendency of the input signal U 1 and supplies positive voltage with a rising edge of the input signal U 1 and negative voltage with a falling edge. At the output of the operational amplifier OP there is a square wave signal. The output current of the operational amplifier OP is limited to the permissible value by means of a resistor R 3 which lies between the operational amplifier OP and the second switch 23 .
The square wave signal from the operational amplifier OP is performed by complementary transistors Tx, Ty of low power via the current-limiting resistors R 4 and R 4 '' to the switching transistors T a and T b . These switching transistors T a , T b implement the second or first switch 23 , 15 . A resistor R 5 ', R 5 ''ensures the correct closing of the switching transistors T a , T b . The switching transistors T a and T b are used twice. The switching transistor T a serves to increase the positive voltage and at the same time to store the negative voltage in the first capacitor 13 . The switching transistor T b is seen for increasing the negative voltage and at the same time for storing the positive voltage in the second capacitor 21 before. The resistor 29 between the two switching transistors T a , T b serves to protect them when charging the capacitors 13 and 21 . The diodes 11 , 19 enable the increase by the series connection of the capacitors 13 and 21 to the negative or positive operating voltage 17 , 25 without interrupting the circuits. The capacitors 13 , 21 are alternately changing to twice the operating voltage, that is to say 2 | U B | charged. When the capacitor voltage is connected in series with the operating voltage 17 , 25 , the maximum output voltage at the signal output 5 of the amplifier 1 is plus / minus 3 times the operating voltage + U B , -U B , i.e. 6 times the operating voltage U B , measured from peak to peak.
At higher frequencies, e.g. B. in the kilohertz range, it is appropriate to provide a coupling capacitor 30 between the bases of the switching transistors T a , T b . This coupling capacitor 30 prevents an overlap of the switching states and thus a cross current through the switches 15 , 23 .
