Abstract

In the case of an illumination system (4), in a room (1) to which daylight has access, disturbances resulting from the different colour temperatures of the daylight (3) and of the artificial illumination (5) are avoided in that the colour temperature of the daylight is measured and the colour temperature of the artificial illumination is followed up in a corresponding manner, for example by switching light sources (8, 9, 10) of different colour temperature on or off or by opposingly brightening or dimming such light sources, it being possible to keep the overall illumination intensity constant, or by using light sources having a controllable colour temperature. <IMAGE>
