Abstract

1. A running rail (3) for overhead monorail conveyors having preferably electrically driven vehicles, the rail being adapted to be secured by rail mounts to carrying structures and having a channel-section head (4; 41) and a channel-section foot (5; 42), the openings of the channel sections facing one another, a web (6) interconnecting the head and foot, the web (7) of the head being devised as a running surface for running and carrying rollers, and flanges (9, 10) of the head and foot being devised externally as guide surfaces for guide rollers of the vehicles, characterised in that each mount (2) has at least one receiving element (32, 40, 43, 52) for each rail head (4; 41) and rail foot (5; 42), which element can be disposed in the corresponding channel (8), can be moved into gapless engagement with the web (7) and/or flanges (9, 10) and can be clamped to the web or the flanges.
