Abstract

The wrench has an anvil (10) coupled to a cylindrical rotor (5) itself coupled to a motor shaft. The anvil has a rocking hammer (13) engageable with a projection (7) on the rotor inner surface. The hammer is urged towards the projection by a sprung pusher (16). The shaft can be driven by an air motor (4). The rotor inner- surface can be formed with either a shallow (21) or a deep (20) cam face. A spring support slides on the cam face to facilitate compression or relaxation of the pusher spring (23) against- the hammer.
