AbgasverbrennungsbirneExhaust gas incinerator
The invention relates to an exhaust gas incinerator for a heater in which oil or gasoline is burned as fuel. The fuel burns - from atomized by a nozzle - in a combustion chamber. The combustion succeeds, however, because of the generally uneven Atomization not complete. The unburned parts escape with the other exhaust gases through the chimney and pollute thus the environment.
Mit steigender Luftzufuhr nimmt aber der Wirkungsgrad des Heizgerätes ab.In conventional systems, the proportion is unburned The amount of fuel in the exhaust gases is relatively high. The amount can be reduced by supplying the combustion chamber with more air. As the air supply increases, however, it increases Efficiency of the heater.
Die Anwendung der Hülse bringt jedoch keinen nennenswerten ErfolgIt is already known to provide a cylindrical sleeve in the combustion chamber which is spaced concentrically to the nozzle is arranged. Its purpose is to return the exhaust gases to the area near the nozzle by suction and post-burn the unburned fuel. However, the use of the sleeve does not bring any significant success
The invention is therefore based on the task of the combustion process without impairing the efficiency.
The solution to this problem consists in an exhaust gas incinerator according to the invention for a heater with a
According to the invention, the arranged in the combustion chamber, of the heating flame flow through exhaust gas incinerator two in the flow direction of the heating flame arranged one behind the other and conically extending Sections of which the first gradually widens and the second tapers sharply.
Unburned fuel particles are thrown back from the inner wall of the exhaust gas incineration bulb to the heating flame and consequently also burn there. It is thereby achieved in a very simple manner that the environmental pollution which occurs when oil or gasoline is burned is considerably reduced. The success consists, on the one hand, of reducing the CO content in the exhaust gases from around 0.02 % to 0.001 %. On the other hand, the formation of soot is considerably reduced thanks to the arrangement according to the invention, so that this also reduces environmental pollution. In addition, the loss of performance due to soot deposits in the heater and the risk of sooting is counteracted. The reduction in the amount of soot also makes it possible to throttle the air supply into the combustion chamber and thus to increase the efficiency of the heater by about 1% without any structural changes to the nozzle of the heater or its combustion chamber being required.

Nozzle 3 arranged. The nozzle 3 atomizes the fuel oil or Gasoline in a known manner and thus feeds the heating flame 4, which flows through the exhaust gas incinerator 1. The exhaust gas incinerator i consists of two conical sections 5,6, which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of flow of the heating flame 4. The first section 5 expands with a slope angle of about 10 ° and the section 6 tapers with a slope angle of about 45 °. At at the end of the section 6 facing away from the section 5 there is an opening 7 for the exhaust gases to exit.
The exhaust gas incinerator 1 is made of a heat-resistant material. Unburned or incompletely burned fuel particles, which emerge from the edge zones of the heating flame 4 due to uneven atomization, are thrown back to the heating flame from its inner wall and burn there consequently also. The inner wall thus serves as a reflective surface.
