Description

The invention relates to a heat exchange system for the Heating a road vehicle with an electric drive, wherein Power semiconductors are used to control the drive motor that give off heat when driving.

It is known in electrically powered vehicles for the purpose of heating indoor electrical Convert electricity directly into heat.

This results in very good efficiency, however the energy required for heating must also be sufficient Amount are available. This requirement is only given when the electric current to the vehicle constantly is fed via contact wires or busbars. Such However, vehicles cannot be operated everywhere, only on specially equipped roads (trolleybus) or Railroad tracks (train).

For line-independent vehicles with an electric drive the energy required for heating in the form of additional Battery capacity can be installed in the vehicle itself. This will result in additional costs and an increased vehicle causes weight, which also means greater engine power may be required.

From DE-AS 24 51 221 is an air heater for one Electric vehicle known. This air heating exists essentially from an air duct, the battery mulators, a source of external heat and a blower, are arranged so that an interior can be heated can. It starts from the heat source the accumulators as well as the control device and the Electric motor warms up when the vehicle is loading drifting takes up.

In operation, only the Heat emission from the batteries used. This one Heat is not always sufficient, there is a possibility the control device and the electrical system motor in the air flow. For this special switching devices are necessary. The accumulators can also with a local be equipped liquid circuit, the however no direct influence on the too hot inner space, but only through the air duct connected with this.

The object of the invention is a heat exchange system for heating a road vehicle To present stuff with an electric drive, in particular can also be used in battery-powered vehicles is, with a simple heat exchange system a sufficient effect is achieved without Additional heat sources are required and switching facilities are necessary, and no increase the battery capacity to operate heat capacity is required.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

This is advantageously achieved in that the the rapidly heating power semiconductors that are used to control the traction motor de heat can be used for heating purposes, being the same the said power semiconductors are cooled in good time. Further developments of the invention result from the sub claims.

Es zeigtAn embodiment of the invention is shown below explained in more detail using a drawing. It shows

Fig. 1a Seitenansicht des Kühlkörpers mit elektrischen Anschlüssen und Schlauchstutzen, FIG. 1a side view of the heat sink with electrical connections and hose adapters,

Fig. 3 Prinzipschaltung der wärmeabge benden Leistungshalbleiter. Fig. 3 basic circuit of the heat-giving power semiconductors.

Since a high current flows through the thyristor Th and the diode D 1 and a corresponding voltage drop occurs, a loss of heat occurs at the two semiconductors Th and D 1 . The same also applies to the freewheeling diode D 2 (see the basic circuit in Fig. 3). The liquid heated by power loss is pumped through the cooler through hoses into the heating of the driver's compartment (see Fig. 2).
