Abstract
Description
Schweiß-Robotern.The invention relates to a welding current contact nozzle made of electrical Conductive metal for bare, i.e. non-sheathed welding wire, which is one of the Wire diameter has corresponding inner bore that extends up to a front face enough. Such contact nozzles for bare welding wire are used for welding used under protective gas, both in manual and automatic welding Welding systems, e.g. welding robots.
Welding current contact nozzles of the type described are wear items, not only because of the wear and tear of the inner bore due to the mostly entering in the arch Welding wire, but primarily because of the bear formation on the front face the contact nozzle. This bear formation is caused by splashing around during welding Metal particles that hit the face, weld there and become build up relatively quickly to a point that an electrical short circuit between the contact nozzle and the workpiece. The welding work must then interrupted, not only to use a new welding current contact nozzle, but also around the contact nozzle welded to the workpiece via the projection to loosen from the workpiece, possibly to be chiseled off. Costly business interruptions are the consequence.
The invention is based on the problem of the useful life of welding current contact nozzles to be prolonged by the fact that the bear formation observed for a long time on the end face, i.e. the build-up of a protrusion due to metal splatters adhering there, avoided will. According to the invention, this object is achieved in a two-part manner Execution of the contact nozzle with a front part forming the end face from not metallic, but electrically conductive material, preferably charcoal in as much as possible pure texture. On such a material, the splashing remains Metal particles do not adhere. The material must be electrically conductive for the electrical contact between welding wire and contact nozzle until the wire exits from the contact nozzle is retained, because otherwise the distance between the Workpiece and the closest current transition to the welding wire are extended with the consequence that the applied welding voltage for the arc formation no longer sufficient.
One embodiment of the invention is expediently that the front part made of non-metallic, but electrically conductive material is an in a blind hole at the end of the contact nozzle, inserted cylindrical bolts is, the end face of which is arranged in front of the metallic part of the contact nozzle. This of course, the bolt provided with an inner bore has at least the same diameter the face of the common contact nozzles.
The bolt can be provided with a collar that corresponds to the metallic Part of the contact nozzle is arranged upstream. About the choice of the diameter of this collar it is possible to cover the contact nozzle as a whole from the front.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of a two-part Welding current contact nozzle according to the invention shown, namely Fig.1 the embodiment with inserted cylindrical bolt, in longitudinal section and partly in view, and Fig. 2 the embodiment with a collar on the bolt, in longitudinal section and partly in view.
The contact nozzle shown in Figure 1 is with its metallic part 1, the inner bore 2 and the threaded part 3 conventional with the difference that A blind hole 4 on the end face has been incorporated into the metallic part 1 is. A cylindrical bolt 5 made of charcoal is inserted into this blind hole. the inner bore 6 of which corresponds to the inner bore 2 of the metallic part 1.
The bolt 5 respectively. the blind hole 4 have a diameter that the diameter of the no longer present end face of the metallic part 1 corresponds, so that the end face 7 of the bolt 5 replaces the previous end face, but is arranged upstream of the metallic part 1. Molten metal splashes can not adhere to this end face 7 because the material of the bolt 1 is not metallic. According to this embodiment, existing contact nozzles can be subsequently modified within the meaning of the invention.
The further development according to Fig. 2 is a recommendable new design a welding current contact nozzle. It has a cylindrical metallic part 8 with Inner bore 9 and threaded part 10 into which a blind bore 11 at the end is incorporated is. In this blind hole, a bolt 12 with the metallic part 8 is arranged upstream Collar 12a of such a large diameter used that its end face 13 the remaining Fully covers part of the contact nozzle, so that 8 metal splatters are also formed on the metallic part can hardly deposit. The bolt 12 with collar 12a is made of charcoal and has an inner bore 14.
