Abstract

A flexible corrosion protection for containers, equipment, pipes and the like has a plurality of layers (2, 3) of elastomer blends and the first layer (2) applied to the object (1) to be protected comprises soft rubber, for example butyl rubber, polycholoroprene rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, ethylene-acrylate rubber or chlorosulphonated polyethylene, whereas the second layer (3) applied to the first layer (2) is formed by a self-vulcanising fluoroelastomer solution. <IMAGE>

Description

Mehrere Schichten aus Elastomermischungen aufweisender KorrosionsschutzCorrosion protection with several layers of elastomer mixtures

Die Erfindung betrifft einen mehrere Schichten aus Elastomermischungen aufweisenden elastischen Korrosionsschutz für Behälter, Apparate, Rohre u. dgl..The invention relates to an elastic corrosion protection comprising several layers of elastomer mixtures for containers, apparatus, pipes, etc.

It is known containers, apparatus, pipes and the like with a to provide elastic corrosion protection, which is formed from several layers of elastomer mixtures. Both The rubbers used for this are the upper operating temperature for the corrosion protection produced from them below the upper long-term temperature resistance of the Base rubbers. Since with the mostly aqueous operating media the water vapor diffusion leads to the formation of bubbles on the Corrosion protection leads, fluororubbers are already used as corrosion protection, in addition to a broad chemical resistance have a very low water vapor diffusion rate. The main drawbacks the fluororubbers are in the bad Konfektionski ebrigkeit and the low resistance of the known See binders for fluororubbers. In addition, the price of fluororubbers is very high, so it is For this reason alone, a corrosion protection from fluorinated rubber with a thickness of several millimeters. For many components to be protected against corrosion, however, there is corrosion protection of small thickness not usable because it does not offer sufficient protection against damage, e.g. B. in the case of frequent inspections by inspection personnel or through cleaning measures.

The invention is based on the object of avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages and providing protection against corrosion to create that is thermally and chemically resistant and can be manufactured inexpensively. This task is carried out by the invention specified in claim 1 solved.

Advantageous further developments of the invention are described in the subclaims.

In the case of the corrosion protection according to the invention, the fluoroelastomer layer adheres firmly to the layer made of soft rubber. This increases the thermal resistance of the corrosion protection in such a way that it can also be used at operating temperatures of up to 150 ° C., as can occur in flue gas ducts.

In the drawing is an embodiment of the invention Corrosion protection shown. Here, a first layer 2 is made on the object 1 to be protected Soft rubber and over it a second layer 3 made of a fluoroelastomer is applied.
