Abstract
Description
Verfahren zur Mischlicht-Belichtung bei Stehbild-KamerasProcess for mixed light exposure in still cameras
The invention relates to a method for mixed light exposure, d. H. for simultaneous exposure to flash light and ambient light, with still cameras with built-in electronic flash unit, especially in cameras of this type with a fixed focus lens.
B.In the case of simple cameras, simple lenses with a small aperture are often used used, in particular, fix focus lenses are often used to avoid the need for the distance setting to simplify the operation. To do this a sufficient To achieve depth of field, a correspondingly small aperture is required. However, this creates additional lighting when the ambient light is low required by flash light. There are therefore display means in known cameras provided that signal to the user in low light conditions that the flash unit must be switched on. It has now turned out that too If the ambient light is sufficient when using flash, the image result z. B.
The present invention is based on the object of a method to specify the mixed light exposure, through which a further simplification of operation is achieved by always photographing with flash light and thus the manual Switching on the flash unit and the corresponding display means are omitted, and by that a further increase in image quality is achieved.
This object is achieved in that in a first exposure section with a small aperture a flash exposure is carried out and that then then in a second exposure section to a larger aperture is switched and with this larger aperture an exposure to ambient light he follows.
Since during the flash exposure section with a small aperture is being worked, the depth of field extends into the close range. This ensures that the near area that is illuminated by the flashlight is played back in focus. In the second exposure section is larger Aperture opening using the ambient brightness essentially the next distant background exposed and in focus.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a diagram of the time course of aperture and flash light during recording, E FIG. 2 shows a diagram of the proportions of flash light and ambient light depending on the shooting distance.
As shown in Figure 1; is used in a first exposure phase an aperture of-z. B. f / 22 a flash exposure is carried out. Afterward the aperture is opened wider (e.g. to f / 9.5) and the remaining exposure is in a second exposure section using the ambient brightness causes the exposure time in the second exposure section by an electronic Exposure control is controlled depending on the scene light.
The light measurement of the electronic time-forming device is supposed to be only after switching to the larger aperture opening released so that the light measurement is not influenced by the flash, as the Exposure time in the second exposure section exclusively from ambient light should depend. As shown in FIG. 2, the resulting exposure time should be be chosen so that the ambient light results in an exposure that the corresponds to the lower limit of the exposure latitude of the film material used (e.g. half a light value underexposure).
B.In the exposure diagram shown in Fig. 2 are also the for depth of field corresponding to the respective aperture. With the little one Aperture of z. B.
The flash energy of the flash unit is now selected so that with this shortest distance is the sum of the exposures with flash and ambient light an exposure results which is the upper limit of the exposure latitude of the used Film material (e.g. half a light value overexposure). When switching on the larger aperture of z. B. f / 9.5 results in a smaller depth of field, which, however, is sufficient for a sharp image of the image background. Through the A larger aperture can be obtained even when the ambient light is poor A sufficiently short exposure time for blur-free recordings.
In an advantageous embodiment, the closure and shutter means around a shutter, in which the opening shutter blades at the same time form the aperture.
The method according to the invention also results in particular a significantly improved image impression for indoor shots, since the image background is imaged much brighter and no longer disappears in the dark as in the usual flash exposures.
However, the method according to the invention is not only applicable to cameras Fixed focus lens is limited, but it is with great advantage also with cameras Applicable with autofocus distance adjustment. Because of the optical conditions the distance setting at close range is much more critical than for larger ones Shooting distances. If the method according to the invention is used in an autofocus camera applied, there is the advantage that in that for the distance adjustment critical close-up range is worked with a small aperture, which means you can also use this Trap gets a larger depth of field. This will adjust the distance setting at close range much less critical, so that the demands on their accuracy are much lower, which affects the cost of the autofocus system accordingly affects. As an additional advantage, there is also a greater sharpness Depicted recording area and thus a significantly improved image impression.
