Description

Lagerung und Antrieb für sich um ihre Längsachse drehende Trommeln. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Neuerung für die Lagerung und den Antrieb sich um ihre Längsachse drehender Trommeln und ist durch die Patentzeichnung durch Fig. r im Querschnitt und Fig. 2 im GrundriB dargestellt. = bedeutet eine sich um ihre Mittelachse drehende Trommel, z. B. ein Drehfilter, eine Trockentrommel, einen Drehofen o. dgl. Solche Trommeln wurden bisher mittels Laufringen und Laufrollen gelagert und durch letztere oder einen Zahnkranz in Umdrehung versetzt. Zum Unterschiede hiervon wird die Trommel von endlosen Ketten 2 getragen, welche um Kettenräder 3 laufen, die ihrerseits auf geeigneten Fundamenten ¢ ruhen. Die Trommel liegt in dem einen Tram der Kette, während das andere lose unter- oder überhalb der Trommel läuft. Die Kettenräder und mit ihnen die Ketten werden durch Schneckentriebe o. dgl. 5 vermittels eines Motors oder Riemenscheiben 6 in Umdrehung versetzt. Die Kette rollt sich also am Umfang der Trommel ab, nimmt letztere durch Reibung mit, so daB sie um ihre Längsachse sich dreht. Hierbei kann die Trommel mit ihrem Umfang oder mit einem glätten Ring in den Ketten ruhen oder aber sie kann mit Zahnkränzen 7 versehen sein, in deren Zähne das tragende und treibende Trum der Ketten eingreift. Die Ketten können ihren Antrieb, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt, von mehreren Kettenrädern erhalten oder auch von weniger.
