Description
Während bei diesen bekannten Elementen die schalenförmig gepreßte Braunsteinelektrode selbst als Elektrolytbehälter dient und deswegen eine besondere Behandlung erfahren muß, wird gemäß der Erfindung das Kohle-Braunstein-Gemenge in eineThe invention relates to a flashlight battery with flat electrodes, such as they are already known per se for other dry cell batteries. While known with these Elements the shell-shaped pressed manganese dioxide electrode itself as an electrolyte container serves and must therefore experience special treatment, is according to the invention the coal-brownstone mixture into one
ίο flache isolierende Schale eingepreßt. Dabei
The carbon discharge can be pressed in at the same time. The shallow bowl is closed with a zinc plate before or after the electrolyte has been introduced. The battery can be designed in a simple manner so that it can be used for the same lamp housing as the conventional flashlight batteries.
ο For example, on the drawing there is a

Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt,Fig. Ι shows a cross section,
Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section,

Man kann in diesem Falle die Ausfüllung auch durch FüllstückeThe battery in this case consists of three elements 1, 2, 3 with a flat shape. Each of these elements shows a zinc plate α and opposite a manganese dioxide graphite plate b, which is in a shell c, z. B. made of cardboard, is pressed in, the zinc plate α itself forms one wall of the shell and can be attached after pressing in the manganese dioxide-graphite plate. The carbon pin d can also be used when pressing in. The electrolyte e is housed between the zinc plate α and the manganese dioxide-graphite plate b. The elements are connected in series in a known manner. The contact strip / for the lamp is attached to the carbon pin of the outermost element 3 to the right. On the zinc of the outermost element 1 to the left, the contact strip g is attached, which is shaped and bent so that it has the usual position to make contact for the push button with the housing i indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 2 when the battery is inserted result. The whole battery is expediently placed in a shared cardboard cover h . The plan of the individual elements is shaped so that the overall plan of the three elements corresponds to the inner plan of the housing and so the battery fills the housing when it is inserted and the usual contacts are created. In the example shown, the floor plans of the individual elements differ from one another. However, it is also possible, for example, to make elements 1 and 3 completely identical without deviating from the overall plan by placing them symmetrically on both sides of the middle element 2. It is also possible to produce all three elements in the same shape if a housing of the usual shape with rounded transverse sides is not used or if it is not important to completely fill this housing with the battery itself. In this case, the filling can also be filled with filler pieces
