Bei der Herstellung von Stiefeln und Schuhen, bei denen Sohle und Oberleder auf^: der Maschine durch Metallstifte oder dergleichen vereinigt werden, ist es gebräuchlich, den Stiefel oder Schuh über einen Leisten zu schlagen, um die Sohle anzuheften.
