Description
Process for the production of catalytic fertilizer lime. One the most important commandments of the fertilizer theory is liming. Experiments have now surprisingly show that the effect of lime fertilizers, quick or unburned lime or lime marl, by adding small amounts of burnt or unfired Plaster of paris, calcium sulfite or calcium sulfide is not insignificantly improved. Particularly Baked plaster of paris and calcium sulfide are suitable because they are not only very cheap but also generate heat in the soil when they come into contact with water. Also are Like calcium sulphite, they are so insoluble that they are not washed out by rain so that the mixing ratio is maintained almost permanently.
Such a catalytic lime fertilizer is given to the plant a building material which is not too abundant in the beginning and gradually dries up, but is always ready and so the plant is a permanent one constant and therefore all the more favorable strengthening. The beneficial effect can be seen from comparative vegetation tests, in which on the one hand lime a) with z percent gypsum, b) with -2 percent calcium sulfite, c) with 2 percent calcium sulfide, on the other hand d) lime with 25 percent quicklime and e) lime alone came.
In the case of sugar beets, the amount of sugar beet harvested was almost at d and e the same, for a, b and c by 5 or 5 or 6 percent higher and also the sugar content for a and b by 0.5 percent, for c by r percent higher than for d and e.
