Abstract
Diese Erfindung beschreibt ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, die besonders dazu geeignet ist, Verbrennungsmotoren mit Flüssiggas (Propan/Butan) zu betreiben. Sie besteht aus einer ringförmigen Kammer um den Ansaugkanal, wobei die Form des Querschnittes für den Ansaugkanal keine Rolle spielt. Das wesentliche Merkmal dieser Erfindung besteht darin, daß das verdampfte Flüssiggas parallel zum Luftstrom der Verbrennungsluft geführt wird. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die ringförmige Kammer Austrittsöffnungen hat, die das Gas in der gewünschten Richtung lenken. Der Vorteil dieser Erfindung besteht darin, daß nicht nur Vergasermotoren, sondern besonders auch Einspritzmotoren nach dem neuen Verfahren einwandfrei arbeiten. Es wurde festgestellt, daß beim Einbau dieser Vorrichtung in Motoren - die entweder nach dem Vergaserprinzip oder nach dem Einspritzprinzip arbeiten - keinerlei Umbau oder Änderung in der Einstellung des Motors erforderlich machen. Messungen haben ergeben, daß die volle Leistung des Motors ohne Mehrverbrauch an Kraftstoff erhalten bleibt. Dies wird durch Abgasmessungen belegt, die beweisen, daß eine besonders vollständige Verbrennung des zugeführten gasförmigen Kraftstoffes erfolgt. Besonders wertvoll ist diese Erfindung dadurch, daß schädliche Abgase auf ein Minimum reduziert werden. Darüber hinaus braucht dieser Kraftstoff keinen Zusatz von Bleitetraäthyl, was diese besonders giftige Umweltverschmutzung vollständig vermeidet.This invention describes a method and a device which is particularly suitable for operating internal combustion engines with liquid gas (propane / butane).
