Die Pelotte a kann von gleichmäßiger Form, so daß sie für beiderseitige
Brüche getragen werden kann, oder' von anderer beliebiger Form sein. Auf der Pelotte
a ist ein um ein Scharnier o. dgl. drehbar angeordneter Hebel b befestigt, welcher
unter dem Einfluß einer Feder i steht, An Stelle der Flachfeder kann auch eine andere
Feder Verwendung finden. Auf dem Hebel b befindet- sich eine Platte c, welche auf
dem Hebel b mittels der Schraube h und Einstellöcher l beliebig verstellbar
ist. Auf der Platte .c, die nach der Polotte hin konkav gekrümmt ist, befinden sich
vier Knöpfe d, an welche die Enden e, f des Beckengürtels anschließbar
sind und ein Knopf g, an den der Schenkelriemen h anknüpfbar ist. Durch die Anordnung
des Hebels b wird ein von unten nach oben federnder Druck hervorgerufen, durch den
die Pelötte a mit ihrer Polsterung k gegen die Bruchpforte nach oben drückt ; durch
die aufgelegte Platte c wird infolge der Befestigung mit dem Beckengürtel ein Druck
nach den Seiten hin ausgeübt und dadurch ein Umkippen der Pelotte verhindert. An
den in der Mitte der Platte c befindlichen Knopf g wird der Schenkelriemen über
die ganze Länge der Pelotte a und des Hebels b geführt und hält dadurch die Pelotte
von unten fest. Um ein Abgleiten des Schenkelriemens zu verhüten, ist an der Pelottenunterkante
eine Schlaufe m angebracht, durch welche der Schenkelriemen hindurchgeführt ist.
Eine solche * Befestigung der Pelotte auf der Bruchpforte soll vermeiden, daß der
Bruch austreten kann, selbst nicht bei stärkstem Husten. Die Bandage kann auch bei
Harnfistel, künstlichem After u. dgl. benutzt werden. Es ist selbstverständlich,
