PATENTANSPRUCH: -Verfahren, um aus Thomas- oder Siemensmartinschlacke Eisen zurückzugewinnen und außerdem ein hochwertiges Kalziumphosphat und Kieselsäure enthaltendes Düngemittel zu erhalten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Salzsäuredämpfe durch oder über glühende Eisenschlacke geleitet werden; wodurch bei einer Temperatur von 780 bis 88o° C Eisenchlorid übergeht, welches in Wasser aufgefangen und beim Erhitzen bei. einer Temperatur von Zoo bis 23o° C in Eisenoxyd und Salzsäure zerlegt wird, während Kalziumphosphat und Kie's:elsäure als Düngemittel zurückbleiben.
