Schnür-,Schlag- und Lotapparat: Bei gewissen Arbeiten, wie beim Malen, Tapezieren, Leitungverlegen usw., bediente man sich.u. a. einer Schnürmethode, um der jeweils zu vollbringenden Arbeit die entsprechende Linienrichtung zu geben. Die bis jetzt bekannte Schnürmethode bestand im wesentlichen darin, daß das Schnüren stets von zwei Personen gehandhabt werden mußte. Hierbei hielt die eine Person das eine Ende der Schnur beispielsweise an der einen Wandecke und die andere Person das andere Ende der Schnur an der anderen anschließenden Wandecke, wobei eine von den beiden Personen das Anschlagen der Schnur, bewirkte.
