Abstract

1. A roll-up device for swimming pool covers comprising a winder shaft (1) for a cover (4) in the form of a roller blind or tarpaulin, said shaft being mounted at the edge of the pool in a well (6, 10) on at least two pivoting arms (12), and being raisable into an opening position suitable for rolling up and unrolling the cover (4), characterised in that the arms (12) are secured rigidly in respect of rotation on a torsionally stiff shaft (7) and the winder shaft (1) is raisable by means of an automatic lifting device (9).
