Zweck vorliegender Erfindung ist, einen Armhalter für Mandolinen, Gitarren u. dgl. Saiteninstrumente zu schaffen, durch welchen der Unterarm des Spielenden seitlich derart erfaßt wird,- daß eine Hin- und Herbewegung des Unterarmes dem Rande des Instrumentes entlang unmöglich wird. Zweckmäßigerweise wird der Unterarm durch zwei Hörner erfaßt, welche so ausgebildet sind, daß die Achse der für den Unterarm zwischen beiden freigelassenen öffnung schräg zur Achse des Armhalters verläuft. . Bei der Mandoline 1 (Fig. 1 und 2) verlaufen die Saiten wie üblich um den unteren Rand herum zu den Knöpfen 3 am Befestigungsschild 4. Letzteres ist mittels Schrauben 13 in bekannter Weise befestigt.
