Abstract

The panel for a house has a reflector extending across its fall width, that extends in a straight line horizontally, but is curved in the vertical direction. An energy absorbing element lies along the horizontal focus of the reflector, for receiving the reflected energy and pref, being screened from direct radiation. A transparent cover plate pref. protects the reflector and the energy absorbing element. Pref. several reflectors extend parallel to one another, the top lip of each screening the energy absorbing element associated with that above and mirrored on its rear to act as an auxiliary reflector. The panel provides heat for hot water or room heating.
