Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wasserkühler für Kraftfahrzeuge, bei dem die aus zwei Blechstreifen gebildeten Elemente mehrfach rechtwinklig abgebogen und an andere gleichartige Elemente aneinandergereiht sind, wobei sie mit abgeschrägten Ecken aneinanderstoßen und Luftkanäle von rechtwinkliger Querschnittsform bilden. Bei .der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 bis 3 sind die Lamellen a' und V an ihren gegeneinander gerichteten Abschrägungen je mit zwei neben den abgekröpften Rändern befindlichen Vorsprüngen d versehen, welche sich auch über die an jene Abschrägungen anstoßenden Lamellenteile erstrecken. Zwei benachbarte Elemente liegen deshalb nur mit den Vorsprüngen aneinander, so daß zwischen den ersteren schräge Kanäle e gebildet sind, welche gegen die Vorder- und die Rückseite des Kühlers durch die Vorsprünge d begrenzt sind und je zwei Luftkanäle c miteinander verbinden.
