The top polyethylene foil has high tear-strength and resistance to acids and alkali.. In the bottom and top edge-zones, opposite to one another, a 1-3 cm wide adhesive strip is left free and covered with a non-adhesive silicone paper. The building paper can be used as a water-tight protective layer for refuse tips and tanks and for sealing building surfaces. The bitumen-plastic combination has high elasticity and adhesive power.
