Die Antriebstrommel kann ebenso wie die Bildtrommel eine das Gehäuse durchdringende Rändelscheibe aufweisen, deren Betätigung für den Film- bzw. Bildtransport sorgt. In diesem Zusammenhang besteht auch die Möglichkeit, daß die Rändelscheibe auf einer mit der Antriebstrommel bzw. Bildtrommel gemeinsamen vertikalen Antriebswelle angeordnet ist.
