Abstract

Kerdock codes of left and right sequences having full correlation property with m-sequence are generated. Sequences are column permutated while converting m-sequence to Walsh orthogonal code. Right and left sequences are connected to generate mask candidates which are operated to generate quasi-orthogonal code candidate families for selecting quasi-orthogonal code satisfying partial correlation property. A mask is selected corresponding to the generation of selected quasi-orthogonal code. The sequences are column permutated by independently shifting them and inserting 0' at the head of the shifted sequences.

Claims (3)

1. Kanalübertragungseinrichtung für ein CDMA-Kommunikationssystem mit:
einem Erzeuger zum Erzeugen von einem binärem quasi-orthogonalem Code durch das Betreiben einer binären Quasi-Orthogonalcode-Maske und einem Walsh-orthogonalen Code jeweils in Übereinstimmung mit einem designierten Maskenindex und einem Walsh- Orthogonalcode-Index,
einem Kanalspreizer zum Betreiben von Eingangssignalen und der erzeugten binären quasi-orthogonalen Codes, um Kanalspreizsignale zu erzeugen, und
einem PN (Pseudo Noise = Pseudorauschen)-Maskierungsteil zum Betreiben der Kanalspreizsignale und PN-Sequenzen, um PN-maskierte Kanalsignale zu erzeugen.

einer Einrichtung zum Betreiben der Kanalspreizsignale und der komplexen PN- Sequenzen, um PN-maskierte Kanalsignale zu erzeugen.
