The invention relates to a rearrangement of a prism combination at the distal end of endoscopes in connection with the endoscope objective for universal viewing of objects in any desired direction, except for the loss of the endoscope contours lying in the visual field.
The endoscope consists of an endoscope tube, at the proximal end of which there is an eyepiece and at the distal end, ie on the lens side, a mechanism with two prisms arranged in the optical axis. One prism is objectively firmly connected to the endoscope. The optical axis in the endoscope guidance system is deflected by 90 ° onto the second prism. The second prism in turn deflects the viewing direction by 90 ° in the axial direction. The prism can be adjusted by 360 ° in both directions using a rotating mechanism. This allows objects to be controlled and viewed in a circle, except for the loss of the visible endoscope parts.
