Diese Erfindung ist im Bereich der Strickwaren einzuordnen. Ihr lag folgendes Problem zugrunde: Babys, vor allem aber Kleinkinder im Krabbelalter verlieren u.a. beim Krabbeln bzw. Laufen häufig ihre Socken, welche dann gesucht und erneut angezogen werden müssen. Hinzu kommt, daß viele Kinder recht früh in der Lage sind, sich den Socken absichtlich auszuziehen. Oft bleiben die nackten Füße einige Zeit unentdeckt, so daß es zum Auskühlen kommt. Wie sich kalte Füße auf die Gesundheit eines so jungen Körpers auswirken können, bedarf an dieser Stelle keiner Erläuterung. Fast ebenso häufig geht der Socken verloren.This invention can be classified in the area of knitwear. Eine wirklich befriedigende Lösung des oben beschriebenen Problems stellt jedoch meines Erachtens keine der beiden Fertigungsweisen dar, denn die Socken halten nicht am Fuß. Sie tun dies nicht, weil das Bein nach unten hin schmaler wird und glatt ist, so daß der Socken, dort wo er unmittelbar nach dem Anziehen sitzt, keinen Halt hat. In Verbindung mit der hohen Elastizität der verwendeten Materialien hat dies zur Folge, daß die Socken über die Hacke rutschen; insbesondere dann, wenn Kinder krabbeln.There are currently socks on the market that have a straight cut, i.e. are made without a narrow section, so that the previously described pulling off happens "by itself".
