BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION

Figuren 5 und 6 zeigen ein abgewandeltes Ausführungsbeispiel. Der Abdeckring 10 hat bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel denselben Aufbau wie in Figur 1, lediglich mit dem Unterschied, daJ3 die Blende 12 ein etwas anders gestaltetes Profil aufweist. Das Halteelement 24 ist hier als geschlossener Ring ausgebildet, der gemäß Figur 6 an zwei einander diametral gegenüberliegenden Stellen seines äußeren Umfangs mit Abflachungen 32 versehen ist. Außerhalb der Abflachungen 32 ist der Außendurchmesser des Halteelements größer als der Innendurchmesser des Befestigungsrings 14. An der Stelle der Abflachungen ist der Außendurchmesser jedoch kleiner als der Innendurchmesser des Befestigungsrings. Deshalb ist es möglich, das Halteelement in gekippter Stellung durch den Abdeckring 10 hindurchzuführen, wie in Figur 5 illustriert wird. In montiertem Zustand wird das Halteelement 24 dann auf dieselbe Weise zwischen dem Abdeckring und dem Leuchtengehäuse gehalten wie in Figur 4.Figures 5 and 6 show a modified embodiment. Claims

1. Device for fastening a decorative attachment (20) to a lamp housing (28), the opening of which is covered with a cover ring (10), characterized by a substantially ring-shaped holding element (24) connected to the decorative attachment (20), which in a deformed or tilted state can be passed through the cover ring (10) and is then held between the cover ring and the lamp housing.

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the cover ring (10) is detachably latched to the lamp housing by locking claws (18) projecting into the lamp housing (30) and that the locking claws (18) are offset outwards with respect to the inner circumference of the cover ring.

3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the decorative attachment (20) is connected to the holding element (24) via at least one web (22) or a tab (36) and is thereby held at a certain axial distance from the annular holding element.

4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the tab (36) is formed in one piece with the holding element (24) and is bent out of the plane of the annular part of the holding element.

5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding element (24) has an interruption (26) at one point on its circumference and is thereby elastically compressible.

6. Device according to claims 3 and 5, characterized in that the decorative attachment (20) is connected to the holding element (24) via several webs (22) and that at least one of the webs (22) is elastic.

7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding element (24) has a flattened portion (32) at least at one point on its outer circumference and can thus be guided through the cover ring (10) in the tilted position.
