The invention relates to a die casting mold for the manufacture of products in the ceramic and fine ceramic industry using the die casting process. Known processes have already attempted to improve the properties of the green bodies and the productivity of the die casting process. Productivity has been fundamentally improved by using electrophoretic body formation in the die casting process. DE-OS 43 41 533 A1 discloses a solution in which electrodes are arranged in and/or on the die casting mold. The electrodes can also be distributed integrally over the forming surface of the die casting mold. In this case, the electrodes are arranged as a sieve fabric over the inner surface of the die casting mold and, according to the teaching disclosed, guarantee improved drying of the ceramic or fine ceramic body and thus improved body homogeneity, which in turn leads to a reduction in raw and firing breakage. As practice shows, the described effect is only successful with ceramic or fine ceramic products. miL almost constant, body thickness and is therefore reduced to the manufacture of products with flat surfaces, e.g. porcelain plates, discs made of high-tech ceramics. It is also known that the effect of electrophoresis decreases with increasing distance between the electrodes and the body being formed, and therefore the desired effect is not achieved with articles with curved surface areas, even with flatly arranged electrodes. With bodies of greater thickness, a moisture gradient forms in the body, which leads to severe drying out on the anode side and thus inevitably causes cracks in the firing process. With products with complex shapes, it is not economically possible, even with a sieve mesh electrode, to get close enough to the surface of the body to ensure unhindered current flow in the ceramic body.
Against this technical background, the invention sets itself the task of improving the conductivity of the die casting mold itself in order to avoid the disadvantages indicated, such as the formation of the moisture gradient, even in the case of differences in the body thickness of the ceramic or fine ceramic products or in the case of complicated surface designs of the ceramic or fine ceramic products.
Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß dem Formenwerkstoff für die Druckgußform schwer oxidierbare, elektrisch leitende Stoffe direktAccording to the invention, the object is achieved by adding electrically conductive substances that are difficult to oxidize directly to the mold material for the die-casting mold.

zugemischt werden und dadurch ein konstanter Stromfluß in der Druckgußform gewährleistet wird.mixed in, thereby ensuring a constant flow of current in the die-casting mold.
Die Erfindung wird an Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert.
Ausführungsbeispiel 1The invention is explained in more detail using exemplary embodiments.
Example 1
Aufgrund der Dichteunterschiede derThe molding equipment for the die casting mold is prepared for casting as usual. The components of the mold material are mixed in the known ratio, slurried and the required viscosity is set. Immediately before pouring the die casting mold, 5% by mass of metal powder Ni/Cr 60/40, based on 100 parts by mass of the mold material, is added and homogenized. The homogenized metal powder-containing mass is immediately poured into the prepared mold, cured as usual and removed from the mold when cured. Due to the density differences of the
Formen Werkstoffkomponenten konzentriert sich das homogen verteilte Metallpulver an der Oberfläche der erhaltenen Druckgußform und der Rest ist in der ausgehärteten Druckgußform relativ gleichmäßig verteilt, so daß die elektrophoretische Wirkung auch an kompliziert geformtenForms material components, the homogeneously distributed metal powder concentrates on the surface of the resulting die casting mold and the rest is distributed relatively evenly in the hardened die casting mold, so that the electrophoretic effect also on complicated shaped
Ausführungsbeispiel 2surface areas of the subsequent die-cast product. The finely distributed metal powder in the die-casting mold ensures an unhindered flow of current. The finely distributed metal powder Ni/Cr 60/40 in the die-casting mold according to the invention ensures the conductivity and the electrophoretic effect even in the event of differences in the thickness of the ceramic or fine ceramic die-cast product and significantly shortens the time it takes for the ceramic or fine ceramic product to form the body.
Example 2
An advantageous embodiment of the die casting mold according to the invention is the additional arrangement of surface electrodes in the mold halves. The mold device for the die casting mold is designed in a known manner with a screen fabric or with strips of appropriate material, which is back-cast with the mold material according to the invention. Further processing is carried out as described in Example 1. The electrophoretic effect of the die casting mold during the formation of the ceramic body is increased and the body formation time is further shortened.
