Claims (6)

1. Blindenstock dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich am Stock eine Vorrichtung zur Emission von elektromagnetischer oder akustischer Strahlung befindet, die unabhängig von der Drehung oder Neigung des Stockes, automatisch so ausgerichtet wird, daß die Strahlung immer nach oben oder in Gehrichtung zeigt.

Blindenstock nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich am unteren Ende des Stockes eine Empfangseinrichtung und/oder ein oder mehrere Spiegel befinden, der/- die sich unabhängig von der Drehung oder Neigung der Stockes sich so ausrichten, daß der reflektierte Strahl detektiert werden kann.

Blindenstock nach Anspruch 1, und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine elektronische Auswerteeinrichtung in den Stock integriert ist, die ermitteln kann, ob der Strahl aus einer Entfernung reflektiert wird, die kürzer ist als mindestens der Abstand zwischen dem Strahlaustritt am unteren Ende des Stockes und der Kopfoberseite des Benutzers und/oder kürzer als die Reichweite des Stockes.
4. Blindenstock nach Anspruch 1, bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Einheit zur Signalausgabe, entweder akustischer oder taktiler Art, in den Stock integriert ist.
5. Blindenstock nach Anspruch 1, bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Energieversorgung durch Akkus oder Batterien erfolgt.
6. Blindenstock nach Anspruch 1, bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Energiesversorgung alternativ durch Solarzellen erfolgt.
