In der letzten Zeit ist im Bereich der Mobiltelefone die deutliche Tendenz festzustellen, daß die Empfangs- und Sendeeinheiten immer kleiner und leichter werden. Auch die Akkumulatoren werden immer leichter, kleiner und leistungsstärker. Mußte ein Gesprächsteilnehmer im C-Netz Anfang der 90er Jahre noch einen schweren Koffer als Sende- und Empfangseinheit mit sich führen, so kann er heute die selbe Leistung von einem 100 gr leichten Handfunktelefon bekommen. Es ist anzunehmen, daß sich diese Entwicklung fortsetzt. Der Marketing Direktor des Handy Herstellers Ericsson Herr Kirmse zeigt in der „Süddeutschen Zeitung" vom 28.7.1998 Seite V2/10 zum Thema „Kleinst-Telefone" das folgende Problem auf: „Den Abstand zwischen Ohr und Mund muß ein Telefon schon überbrücken".Recently, there has been a clear trend in the area of mobile phones that the receiver and transmitter units are becoming smaller and lighter.
