Description
The invention relates to a track system for rail-bound vehicles with a superstructure that has rails mounted on sleepers, and with a substructure that supports the superstructure and provides laterally support and has a support plate.
A track system of the type mentioned at the beginning is already known from EP 0 722 012 B1. This previously known track system has a superstructure that has rails supported on sleepers and a ballast bed that supports the sleepers. The superstructure of the previously known track system is supported by a substructure that has a concrete support plate that supports the ballast bed. This support plate is supported on an earth structure. In order to be able to correct the tracks after deformations of the subsoil or substructure and to be able to adapt the vibration or shock properties of this previously known track system to the structural conditions, the previously known track system according to EP 0 722 012 B1 provides that the support plate is designed as a continuous band made of in-situ concrete and has a thickness of at least 0.4 m.
Bei Setzungen des Erdplanums, die während des Bahnbetriebes durchIn the case of subsidence of the subgrade caused by railway operations

Vibrations from rail vehicles can, however, lead to subsidence and thus cracks in the cast-in-place concrete slab. This leads to undesirable and irreparable damage to the base plate. Continuous cracks in particular destroy the monolithic band and thus the desired properties of the base plate. In addition, the base plate made of cast-in-place concrete is associated with comparatively high production costs.
The task is therefore to create a track system of the type mentioned above that can be manufactured cost-effectively and in which cracks in the supporting plate do not automatically lead to further damage.
The solution to this problem according to the invention in the track system of the type mentioned at the outset consists in particular in that the support plate is formed from at least two layers, that the layers of the support plate are made from different building materials and that an upper layer is made from a material that has a higher plasticity than the material of a lower layer.
Die erfindungsgemäße Tragplatte ist aus zumindest zwei SchichtenThe support plate according to the invention consists of at least two layers
L· hergestellt. L· . Since the support plate according to the invention has an upper layer made of a material that has a higher plasticity than the material of a lower layer, cracks in the lowest layer do not lead to a destruction of the vibration protection. Since such cracks in the lowest layer do not continue into the upper layers, the lowest layer of the support plate is still protected against the penetration of rainwater. In addition, despite such cracks, the support plate of the track system according to the invention continues to form a monolithic band that can compensate for vibrations and shocks well according to the principle of the mass-spring system.

While the bottom layer of in-situ concrete serves as a rigid, load-bearing plate, the upper layer of bituminous-bound material has a leveling effect.
It is advantageous if the bottom layer of the base plate has a thickness of up to 0.3 m and if an asphalt layer is laid on the bottom layer, possibly covered by a top layer.

In such an embodiment according to the invention, the manufacturing costs associated with a bottom in-situ concrete layer can be reduced.
In order to achieve a further reduction in the vibrations and shocks that occur during rail operations, it is advisable to provide a vibration-damping intermediate layer between an upper and a lower layer, whereby this intermediate layer can be made of gravel, for example.

It is advantageous if the upstands are each designed as an L-shaped angle element and if their lower L-leg is molded onto the lowest layer of the support plate.
In order to design the upstands with a base that is as stable and wide as possible, it is advisable for the free L-leg of the L-shaped upstands to have a cross-section that tapers towards the free leg end.
In order to connect the superimposed layers of the base plate monolithically to one another, it is advantageous if an adhesive is provided between the ^ lowest concrete layer of the base plate and the bitumen-bound layer above it.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a sub-ballast mat with preferably vibration-damping properties is arranged between a bitumen-bound layer of the base plate and a ballast bed of the superstructure.
In order to improve the stability of the superstructure itself, it can be advantageous if the ballast bed is fully or partially bound with adhesives or binding agents. However, other fc variants of a superstructure are also possible here.
In order to drain rainwater from the track system according to the invention, it is advantageous if water drainage channels are provided in the area of the upstands.
In order to spatially limit the noise development in the area of the track system according to the invention, it is advantageous if soundproofing elements are provided in the area of the upstands.
In order to further reduce production costs, it can be advantageous if at least one of the upper, bitumen-bound layers is made from recycled building materials or from contaminated aggregates or similar materials.
In order to prevent rainwater from penetrating the edges, it is advisable to fill a gap with permanently elastic material between the top layer of the bitumen-bound layer or layers and the side edge.

Es zeigt in zum Teil schematisierter Darstellung:An embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows, in a partially schematic representation:
The only figure shows a track system for rail-bound vehicles in a cross-section.
