Pallet racking system, to be mounted on all wooden pallets with standardized basic formats, as well as on versions with different basic formats, without pallet base and also on platforms, with the elements:

Description

The pallet shelving system with elements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, as such and in a wide variety of designs. For all conceivable applications in connection with the product presentation of goods in or without individual packaging on pallets and for transporting the entire system with a pallet truck. The shelf column element with foot part (Fig. 1) consists of a tubular profile, dimensioned in wall thickness, profile diameter or profile type depending on the load of the entire shelf: round or square profile. With a metal plate welded on one side on the left or right depending on the design, called the foot part (Fig. 1, a), this as a prefabricated, unequal-sided punched and edged part with holes (Fig. 1, b) for fastening the columns to the EURO pallet (Fig. 1, c) with screws or pallet nails. With a through hole at the required height from the foot part (Fig. 1, d) to accommodate a) the column support (Fig. 2), or b) the base level or the base shelf basket (Fig. 3 and Fig. 3.1), as a direction-stabilizing moment for the entire shelf.

The basic shelf level element (Fig. 3) in the slanted version is a three-fold functional part: 1.) Due to its statics and design, it replaces the column supports on the left and right (Fig. 2). 2.) Stabilizes the shelf vertically, while reducing torsional forces due to the diagonal wires that are rigidly welded to the frame at the back across the entire width (Fig. 3, a). 3.) At the same time, it provides the frame or level with a front stop edge (Fig. 3, b) for accommodating product shipping units in cardboard boxes etc. of the appropriate size, with the desired slip effect for the individual product packaging, for optimized removal of the goods by the customer. A wire and metal part consisting of several parts, welded into a unit in the required dimension. After assembling the shelf columns (Fig. 1) on the pallet (Fig. 1, c), the base shelf level is screwed to the shelf columns on the left and right in the area of the through holes (Fig. 1, d). The base shelf level is then attached to the plate on the left and right using screws or pallet nails in the front area using the welded metal plates or mounting plates with holes (Fig. 3, d). The scanner price rail (Fig. 3, c) is then snapped or pressed into place in the length of the shelf width in the front area of the shelf level.

The basic shelf basket element (Fig. 3.1) in the slanted version corresponds within the shelving system in terms of function and assembly to the basic shelf level element described in the description above (Fig. 3).

However, the basic shelf basket differs in appearance and the type of product filling or the arrangement of goods within the basket from the basic shelf level in the following three points: 1.) It is a wire basket closed on all sides, adjusted to the basket height depending on the product or stack height. Wire grid dimensions and material thicknesses are adapted to the basket load and load-bearing capacity. 2.) Within the basic shelf basket, the total width of the basket can be divided into as many as desired using variable and any number of compartment dividers (Fig. 3.1, a). 3.) Products with or without individual packaging are poured or placed in an orderly manner in the basic shelf basket. Due to the slanted design as a sliding basket, due to the law of the slope, the following products slide down when the customer removes them.

The shelf element in horizontal design (Fig. 4) or inclined (Fig. 4.1) in dimensions and load-bearing capacity corresponding to the respective basic units (Fig. 3) and (Fig. 3.1) but without metal plates welded on the left and right front with holes for fastening to the pallet.

They are only inserted into the shelf columns on the left and right at the back using the holders (Fig. 4, a and Fig. 4. la). This makes it possible to stack several levels or baskets filled with goods in a way that is safe for transport.

However, it differs in appearance, shape and type of goods placement compared to the horizontal or slanted shelf levels, as already described under the basic shelf basket element (Fig. 3.1).

The attachable top sign element (Fig. 6) is a poster in the traditional sense, made as a cut or contour-punched from cardboard, plastic or wood, printed or laminated. It corresponds in format to the corresponding shelf width and can be laid out in variable heights. It is included in the shelf system shipping unit lying flat. Depending on requirements, after the shelf has been assembled on site up to the final assembly height, it is inserted a) into the back of the top level or the top basket (Fig. 6, a), or b) into the column extension parts on the left and right via a top sign holder (Fig. 6.1, a).

State of the art

We are not aware of a shelving system that can be mounted on EURO wooden pallets or similar bases and wooden platforms. The standard system consists of the following components and elements:

1. the shelf column with foot part,

2. the column support,

3. the basic shelf level or the basic shelf basket,

4. the shelf level horizontal or inclined,

5. the shelf basket horizontal or inclined,

6. the attachable top plate,

as such is currently not available commercially worldwide.

Problem:

Effects to be achieved with the invention

The invention specified in claim I ₁ 2., 3., 4., 5., 6. is based on the problem of creating a shelving system that is assembled on EURO pallets before shipping and filled with products, and that is secured for transport, with the smallest shipping volume. This can be transported with a pallet truck from the assembly and filling station to the appropriate installation position on site without having to be moved. It can be assembled at the installation site to the required final installation height without tools and then moved into the desired position using a pallet truck. For the location in the market and in the hypermarket high-bay area, to create a shelving system mounted on a pallet or platform that presents products in a horizontal and variable tier arrangement, clearly and in a customer-friendly manner.

Solution and achieved benefits

With elements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, a shelving system was created that can be adjusted to the respective products in terms of the number of levels and total installation height before shipping. It can be filled with products by the branded goods manufacturer in a way that is ready for shipping and with the smallest shipping volume. It can be moved along the entire transport route using a pallet truck, making it easy to transport. It can be assembled more easily and more appropriately on site, to form a shelf sales unit clearly stocked with goods from the floor in the high-bay warehouse or with a single location as a secondary placement, also in a double-sided version. With customer-friendly removal of goods and an easier form of shelf refilling or shelf maintenance and range changes. For more clarity in the shelf section for the consumer or customer.

Claims (6)
