Description

The invention relates to a protective band for children and adults.

In almost all sexual assaults on children and adults, the perpetrator tries to attack his victim from behind to prevent him from screaming and to grab both arms to prevent him from resisting.

For these reasons, we have designed a protective band that is attached to the ankle, since the legs are usually free during an initial attack.

The support structure of the protective band consists of an S- linked hollow band made of titanium steel alloy, with an inner continuous alarm band (protection in case of violent cutting).

The inner circumference of the protective band is variable and can be individually adjusted to each ankle. The metal band, which is equipped with a pressure sensor, is fixed on the inside with a skin-friendly adhesive tape and with the pressure sensor on the inside of the ankle.

The band, which is divided into 6 individual links, can be locked with a lock; the key is only given to the parent/guardian or a trusted person.

The band includes the following 6 individual systems:

1. Acoustic alarm, triggered by impact pressure sensor.

2. GPS transmitter ("Global Positioning System" = global
Radio direction finding system) for location.

3. Smoke development capsule.

4. Heart rate monitor.

5. Energy system, consisting of kinetic system and batteries.
6. Language module.

It is currently still possible to add or omit other systems. To avoid a false alarm, at least 2 or 3 individual systems must be activated in order to trigger a location alarm via GPS.

To further visually deter potential perpetrators, special patches/stickers are produced (bright yellow, phosphorescent), which can be conspicuously attached to clothing, school bags or bicycles.

In order to ensure the most effective nationwide monitoring of the people wearing protective tape, four monitoring centers would have to be set up in Germany. The alarm activated via GPS would reach all four centers simultaneously. Due to the precise location capability of the GPS system (approx. 1 tn ² ), the closest center could then alert the police station closest to the attack site and direct its emergency services to the exact crime scene. These operations centers contain area-specific maps on which the area to be monitored is precisely defined.

The individual systems of the protective tape according to the invention are described with reference to the figure.

A voice module S includes a voice frequency band recognition system that recognizes a specific "alarm word" that is only used in an absolute emergency and thereby triggers an alarm. The "alarm word" is entered when the device is purchased. The voice frequency is recorded in the resting state and in the excited state, coded and stored in the voice recognition system.

The alarm is activated when the code word is recognized.

An acoustic alarm A can be triggered by a pressure sensor D, which is attached to the inside of the ankle because the legs are usually free during an attack, and which is triggered by a blow or continuous pressure. This triggers a shrill siren tone of around 120 dB. The setting (resistance) of the pressure sensor is determined according to the age of the wearer and the triggering is practiced when the device is purchased.

A GPS transmitter G with a microchip triggers the so-called tracking alarm if at least two individual systems are already activated, whereupon the appropriate rescue teams are dispatched. It is possible to locate the victim with 1 m^ accuracy.

A pulse rate monitor p is activated when the pulse rate rises above 100 to 120 beats, i.e. when the pulse rate is higher in young people than in old age, the frequency monitor is set to the buyer (empirical values, average). It could also be set individually to the wearer. Test in a resting, excited state.

A smoke generator R comprises a detonator which explodes and develops coloured smoke when at least two of the systems S, DA and P are triggered. The colour should be difficult to remove.

For a lock S only the legal guardians have the key.

A kinetic energy generator K supplies the energy for the systems from kinetic energy.

Claims (2)

1. Child and adult protection band consisting of a lockable link band made of hollow titanium steel links that can be attached to the ankle with the individual systems - a voice module (S) or voice frequency band recognition system which activates and triggers an alarm when it detects an entered alarm word, - an acoustic alarm (A) which can be triggered by a pressure sensor (D), - a pulse rate monitor (P), which is activated when the pulse rate rises above 100 to 120 beats, - a GPS transmitter (G) that triggers a tracking alarm when at least two individual systems are activated, - a smoke generator (R) comprising a detonator that explodes and develops coloured smoke when at least two systems (S, AD and/or P) have been triggered, - a kinetic energy generator (K) for the energy of the systems and - a lock (SCH) to close the strap. 2. Protective band according to claim 1, with an inner, continuous alarm band for protection in the event of violent cutting.
