The invention relates to a case according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such cases can be used in a variety of ways, but in particular as jewelry cases for all kinds of jewelry, high-quality writing instruments and the like. As a rule, certain inserts are used to hold the jewelry item and the like. One problem is the shipment of large quantities of cases, and in particular the storage of these by the manufacturer and the consumer, since finished cases have a relatively large hollow space.

The invention is based on the object of designing a case according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that the shipment and storage by the manufacturer and the consumer can take place in a flat state, i.e. while avoiding unnecessary cavities.

The object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

Further embodiments of the invention are protected in the dependent claims.

The case according to the subject matter of the invention consists of an inner transverse punched part and an outer longitudinal punched part, which are initially only connected to one another at the bottom, preferably glued, and stored and transported in this connected flat state.

The exact technical design is set out in the claims and the figure description.

Only when required are the desired number of cases, which can of course have a wide variety of dimensions and length/width ratios, put together to form finished cases. In this case, only one additional bond is necessary or advisable at the beginning of assembly, namely between the inner rear wall, which is angled upwards by 90° relative to the inner base, and the correspondingly angled outer rear wall. The rest of the case can then be folded easily and securely without any additional tools.

For further illustration, embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing and are described below.

The inner transverse punched part 10 shown in Figure 1 has an inner base 20, of which the individual walls can be angled upwards by 90° around lateral bending lines 13, 15 of the side walls 12, 14, around a front bending line 21 of the front inner wall 22 and around a rear bending line of the inner rear wall 24. Bending strips 16, 18 can be bent by 180° on the side walls 12, 14. On the outer edges of the bending strips 16, 18, protruding retaining ribs 32, 33 are provided, which, when assembled, can be brought into firm engagement with retaining slots 30, 31 on the inner base 20 in the area of the lateral bending lines 13, 15. In the area of the lower bending line 21 or lower front edge, a recess 23 is provided in the middle of the inner base 20, into which the closure strip 62 or closure tab 64 of the outer longitudinal punched part 50 described below in Figure 2 can engage. Finally, the inner front wall 22 and the rear wall 24 are each extended by lateral extension support parts 26, 28 and 27, 29, respectively, which are bent by 90° in the direction of the inner base 20 after the rear wall and front wall have been erected vertically. The case is stably mounted by bending the two lateral bending strips 16, 18 by 180° around these support parts.

According to Figure 2, the outer longitudinal punched part 50 has an outer base 52, an outer rear wall 56 and a lid 58 via an upper bending line 60. The closure strip 62 is attached to the outer end of the lid via a further bending line 61 and narrows to form an outer closure tab 64. The closure tab 64 can be inserted into the recess 23 of the inner base 20 described in connection with Figure 1 after being bent over via a further bending line 65. The punched part 66 on the closure tab and the recess 59 on the opposite bottom end of the outer punched part 50 represent a handle strip for releasing the closure strip 62, 64.

In Figure 2, as a preferred embodiment, a front outer wall 54 is also shown, which is not absolutely necessary and has a transverse slot 57 in the area of the bending line 55 for the closure tab 64.

Figure 3 shows a half-assembled case, consisting of an outer longitudinal punched part 50 with lid 58, closure strip 62 and closure flap 64, and the inner transverse punched part 10, the inner base 20 of which is firmly connected, usually glued, to the outer base 52 of the longitudinal punched part 50. It should be mentioned that as a first assembly step, the inner rear wall 24 of the inner transverse punched part 10 is angled upwards by 90° relative to the base 20, and in this position is connected, usually glued, to the outer rear wall 56 of the outer longitudinal punched part 50.

Figure 4 shows the cross section through another transverse punched part 34, in which the bending strips 36, 38 have angled extension pieces 37, 39 on the outer edges, which are arranged on the inner base 40 and in this way serve to assemble the case.

Case according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the outer front wall (54) has a closure slot (57) and the inner base (20) has a recess (23) above the front lower edge (21) of the inner front wall (22) for the passage of the closure strip, in particular a bendable front closure tab (64). 4. Case according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized by lateral holding slots (30, 31) on the lower bending strips (16, 18) of the side walls (12, 14) within the inner base (20), with which lateral holding ribs (32, 33) can engage as an extension of the outer edges of the bending strips (16, 18). 5. Case according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the bending strips (36, 38) have angled extension pieces (37, 39) on their outer edges, which rest on the inner base (40) of the inner transverse punched part (34). 6. Case according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the outer longitudinal punched part (50) and the inner transverse punched part (10, 34) are made of corrugated cardboard, preferably corrugated cardboard laminated in different colors.
