Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Herzmanschette zur Erhaltung und Unterstützung des kranken Herzens. Durch die verschiedenen Krankheiten, wie z.B. Herzinfarkt oder Herzklappenschaden, verliert das Herz seine Muskelkraft und erfordert dadurch die Transplantation eines gesunden Herzens.The invention relates to a heart cuff for maintaining and supporting the diseased heart. Die Herzmanschette ist eine Vorrichtung, die eine Herztransplantation oder Kunstherz überflüssig macht. Die Manschette wird für jedes Herz einzeln und nach Maß angefertigt. Es gibt weitere Möglichkeiten die Manschette nach Bedarf an das Herz partiell anzubringen. Diese wird von aussen an das Herz angebracht, so daß der vergrösserte Herzmuskel keine Möglichkeit hat, in seinem Volumen zu wachsen.The cuff is made individually and to measure for each heart. Die Manschette funktioniert so wie in Fig. 1, wo von der Innenseite der Manschette entsprechende dehnbare Kammer vorhanden sind. Die Kammern werden durch bekannte Techniken zum Dehnen und Entspannung gebracht. Da die Dehnkammem von aussen an die Herzkammer anliegen, so daß sie beim Dehnen an die Herzkammer drücken (siehe Fig 2) und somit die Pumpleistung unterstützen und den Blutkreislauf aufrecht erhalten. Es gibt weitere Möglichkeieten ( Fig. 3) nach einem Herzinfarkt, eine partielle Dehnkammer anzubringen, so daß der ausgefallene Herzmuskelteil ersetzt wird.The heart cuff has one advantage over all previously known devices because it helps the diseased heart to perform and maintain its function. Weitere Vorteile sind keine Transplantationen, keine Suche nach einem neuen Herzen und keine Probleme bei Abstossen eines fremden Organes.
