Bei Kühlschränken ist es bekannt, die Schranktür in geschlossenem Zustand durch Magnetwirkung festzuhalten. Wenn die Schranktür unbeabsichtigt nicht vollständig geschlossen wir, kann das für das Kühlaggregat eine unnötige Dauerbelastung bedeuten. Zudem kann Feuchtigkeit in das Schrankinnere eindringen, was zur Eisbildung führt und beim Abtauen grössere Mengen Kondenswasser anfallen lässt. Das Scharnier ist - gemäss Fig.l - zur drehbaren Befestigung einer Schranktür 2 an einem Kühl- oder Gefrierschrankgehäuse 3 bestimmt. Bei einer Weiterbewegung der Schranktür 2 in Schliessrichtung bewirkt die gespannte Feder beim Abrollen auf den Nocken 10 eine Kraft in Schliessrichtung der Schranktür 2, bis schliesslich die in Fig.4 dargestellt vollständige Schliessposition der Schranktür 2 erreicht ist, wobei eine geringe Restspannung in Schliessrichtung verbleibt.
