Verbinderelemente werden für Schrauben-ZKlemmverbindungen verwendet. Hierbei wird aus einer Reibschlußverbindung, d. h. Verspannen von zwei Materialien unter Vorspannung ein zusätzlicher Formschluß, d. h. Zusatzwirkung einer Scherfläche erzielt. Bekannt sind solche Verbindungen als Holzverbinder oder auch Ringkeildübel. Deren Nachteile sind zum einen, daß sie bedingt durch starke Zacken und scheibenförmige Auflagefläche nur für weiche ■ Materialien geeignet sind; ferner die zu verbindenden Materialien nicht planmäßig anliegen läßt oder auch das Element sich nicht an der Schraube fixieren bzw. zentrieren kann.Connector elements are used for screw-Z clamp connections.
