As you are surely aware, a lot has changed in the craft sector in recent years. The size of most craft businesses has doubled or tripled. In the past, there was often 1 master craftsman, 1 journeyman and 1 apprentice. Today, many craft businesses often employ ten or more people to handle large orders. In many areas, however, craft businesses have not developed further or have only developed insufficiently. Transport options and their organization are often lagging behind.

What does it look like?

Often the tools are just lying randomly on the bed of the truck or are stored in transport boxes that are only of poor use. How quickly in this >order< something is forgotten, and then a lot of time has to be spent looking for the missing tool.

In the morning, during daily work preparations, the person who is the fastest has the best tools. Slower employees either have no tools or only poor quality ones. The motivation of the employees reflects this situation. Another aspect is the high loss of tools due to theft, violent use during transport and water damage to power tools. These deficiencies lead to high costs for the company.

The protection claim of the invention is based on the claim to reduce the costs for transport and replacement costs of tools in the craft business. To counteract the loss of tools and to improve the motivation of employees. Furthermore, unnecessary downtime or set-up times are eliminated.

A main advantage of the invention is the good usability and handling of the individual compartments. This is achieved by the special sliding mechanism of the front flaps. This encourages the fitter to place the tools properly in the individual compartments, and throwing and thus damaging the tools is prevented. Another advantage is the easy-to-use central locking. The central locking achieves the following:

Furthermore, each compartment and the drawer has an extra snap lock. The outer skin, flaps, floor and roof are made of bent 3mm aluminum sheet. The crane eyes are made of stainless steel. The roof slope and the rain strips attached to the flaps provide an additional level of weather protection. The interior of the tool box consists of 2 compartments for storing tools and a drawer. The two shelves are cut from blockboard and therefore allow for easy attachment of dividers and holders. They also combine the advantages of high load-bearing capacity and low weight. The bottom of the tool box has wheels on the side (2 fixed wheels, 2 steerable and brakeable), so that the tool box can be easily moved or alternatively lifted with a forklift or pallet truck.
